New issue 19671 by catinsnow: high cpu usage while waiting server response http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19671 Chrome Version : 4.0.203.0 (23677) OS + version : Ubuntu 9.04 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32-bit window manager :metacity URLs (if applicable) : Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): normal Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): normal What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.use 'top' or other cpu usage monitor tools 2.open Chomium,and type a slow responsive or non-available url,for example,http://2.3.4.5 ,hit enter. 3.watch Chrome cpu usage What is the expected result? low cpu usage,in my case,P4 2.8C,firefox using about 3%. What happens instead? high cpu usage,over 15%,if waiting two similar sites,it will be about 30%,and so on. Please provide any additional information below.
