Comment #3 on issue 19671 by lilwong: high cpu usage while waiting server response http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19671
Hi, I suggest you try it out with one of these scenarios: 1) A really flaky internet connection which disconnects frequently 2) Using a proxy server that's rather unstable as well I'm not sure why, but it seems that when Chrome tries to load up a site that's not very responsive, CPU utilization shoots up. I connect to the internet using a few methods: 1) 3G broadband - very unstable, frequent disconnects - CPU utilization high and sometimes crashes when Chromium suddenly can no longer find the site 2) In office - stable line - no problems; very nice to use 3) In client's place through a rather flaky proxy - as I said, flaky - CPU util for a tab running Gmail shot up to 100% after a few minutes of usage Thanks, Wong -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
