New issue 23209 by turkay.eren: Chrome omits # character. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=23209 Chrome Version : 4.0.219.0 (Developer Build 27061) OS + version : CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32-bit window manager : KDE URLs (if applicable) : www.twitter.com/#footer Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): OK Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open twitter.com and another site (e.g google.com) in another tab 2. Log in to you twitter.com account 3. Switch between twitter tab and other tab using "ctrl + 1" and "ctrl + 2" 4. Refresh the twitter page. You will be redirected to "twitter.com/footer" What is the expected result? We should still be in twitter home-page. What happens instead? Browser omits "#" character and goes to irrelevant page. When we connect to "foobar.com/#baz", we should connect to "foobar.com", not "foobar.com/baz" -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
