I'm not happy with Sift+Ctrl+Q :-( I think it would be better to use existing standards: ctrl+Q was a short cut to quit applications for years. See for example http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/input- keyboard.html I think it is a strange idea, to change standard keyboard layouts because someone doesn't use it or someone typed the wrong key by accident. What will be next? Backspace? Shift+Ctrl+Q in gnome-terminal is an exception, because terminal programs use Ctrl+Q / Ctrl+S for stop/continue of display output for historical reasons. Of course the best solution would be to have configurable keyboard shortcuts.
