New issue 25186 by regardener: Incorrect MIME type reported in developer
tools for images
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=25186

Chrome Version : 4.0.222.5 (Official Build 28804)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 4:
   Firefox 3.x: OK
          IE 7:
          IE 8:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit http://yt-subs.appspot.com/ with developer tools / resource
tracking active.
2. Note errors reported about the MIME types of images named default.jpg.
3. In the details for any of them, note the MIME type is reported as
text/html; charset=UTF-8

What is the expected result?

The MIME type be reported as image/jpeg.

What happens instead?

It's reported as text/html.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

These images are served by the youtube thumbnail server. E.g.
http://i.ytimg.com/vi/wVGjQSnLg4Y/default.jpg. When going to that URL
directly, the correct type is reported.

The correct type is also reported by Firebug, and by a Perl UA. Unless the
thumbnail server is doing something wonky, there's probably a bug in the
developer tool.
