I don't know, whether the chrome developers read these comments or not.
I haven't found a button to re-open this bug so I think the best way would
be to create a new bug
report.
Actually it's a new bug (title: "chrome doesn't support standard key
combination") that has been
introduced by fixing the bug 17819 ("chrome closed all windows after
ctrl+q" :-).
I hope the Chrome developers can be convinced to support all standard key
combinations because I like
the smooth and easy user interface. And one reason the user interface is so
compelling is, that it
nearly never disappoints the user: even the standard key combinations
ctrl+g and shift+ctrl+g are
supported. So it would be a unfortunate if the famous ctrl+q key
combination is not working :-(
