Comment #1 on issue 28939 by djdelimat: Typing on address line locks up system - hard power off required to return to normal operation http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28939
Version update: Version: 4.0.260.0~svn20091128r33239-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty Still happens! Have noticed that once in a blue moon I can type an address in however if it begins with a w forget it, lock up right after the first w is typed. Have found out that also in about 40% of the time I can [ctrl][alt][f1] and restart the gdm desktop and get control back, that is if I do it within a minute of the lockup. Otherwise it requires a full power down. Tried starting from terminal window to watch for error messages and what not and there are none. If anyone knows how to run a trace on the program while running so I can try and capture something please inform me! -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
