Is there an effort to have chromium build as a library to embed? It would be great to embed and extend Chromium as a stand-alone application. There are many applications that web-based RIA solutions do not address such as those that extensively use OpenGL/Direct-X or app specific hardware. To start with the core of Chromium would be an excellent choice since it has a bright future and it would be a great framework / api.
