I agree. I thought we wanted to avoid that kind of bloat, which is why
I went the helper script route instead of pestering for loops. If we
add too many features, pretty soon we'll just have scons-NG (not that
there's anything wrong with that, but I don't understand that to be
the goal of gyp).
