IIRC, someone asked this a couple months ago. I believe the answer was that http://code.google.com/p/chromiumembedded/ might be of interest. I could see patches being welcome as long as they were fairly clean. I know that's not an "official" answer, but you're probably not going to get a "yes" from anyone unless they can see the impact it'd have.
