There is no way that adding this is directly going to help Chrome, you
shouldn't be using FTP via your browser, unless it's to download a
file, even fireftp (alibet it was a while ago) does not support all
the FTP features, that what FTP software (like filezilla or cuteftp)
are for.  Proxy settings.. I'm neutral on this one, my network proxy
forces users to use it without changing any settings on the client
system so I couldn't care less, and FYI extensions are on their way...
eventually.
