Hi, and thanks for the replies guys! Diego: Interesting that your app ran fastly through localhost in Chrome 1.x! I would like to test this but I'm not sure where to find a copy of Chrome 1.x and how to test it (I will google for it). I could try installing it on Windows XP Pro that I have running in Virtual Server 2005 R2 because I believe it's not possible to run both Chrome 1.x and Chrome 2.x side by side on the same OS?
Eric: I did try http://127.0.0.1 (I hadn't tested it before) and I don't see any difference - it still takes 2-3 seconds. It does indeed sounds like Issue 14228. Except for in my case FF 3.5.1 does not cause any reload lag. I have never encountered any problems with FF 3.x as far as I can remember.
