That link has nothing to do with WebGL. It uses CSS 3d transforms and javascript; WebGL is a native OpenGL interface.
That said, I'm interested as well; does it work on Linux or Windows at all? I'd like to start working on a couple of WebGL apps, and I have no idea if it's even possible to compile chromium with webgl support. J.
