The toolbar appears to be created by the (functionally equivalent) everypage_early.js and everypage_end.js content scripts, which you can view. In case you're not familiar with unpacking an extension: download the .crx file (which is a signed zip) and run it through a program that knows how to unzip, like 7-Zip <http://www.7-zip.org/> (some other zip programs can't extract extension files at the moment — see the bug report at http://crbug.com/20134 for details).
