Of course, there seems to be a double confusion :
-Jarrow and Tonypandy
-the troops in Tonypandy and not outside
One might add that even the Tonypandy events are almost always
misrepresented anyway!
Readers of _The Times_ are no longer what they used to be - the result of
"Murdochisation", no doubt . . .

How could Churchill have sent the Army to prevent the Jarrow march from
reaching London ? Firstly, the march reached London without any
interference; secondly, the date was 1936 and Churchill had not been a
member of the government for the past seven years.

work of stunning literary quality and the French equivalent to
Churchill's
memoirs".
