But as a first step it already be very helpful if the default were longer, say 15 seconds, instead of just 1 frame.
This will unfortunately be very unhelpful to those loading a bunch of stills at once, who want to use that sequence as a video and not a "slide show". Users dealing with digital intermediates (film scans) or output from Cinepaint, for example.
I vote for 1 second ! ;-)
Hmmm... Can we set it manually again to 1 frame?
Usually, I want the pictures to be displayed 5 seconds. But displaying them for 1 second by default would at least allow everyone to select the picture without any problem. 1 frame is just to difficult to select!
It is not difficult to select if you zoom in on the timeline. However, the timeline scaling setting takes a while for the new user to discover, too. Basically, it takes time and effort to get up to speed with Cinelerra's user interface. There is no easy fix for that, but we could improve it: For example, there are no tooltips for the selectors and the indicators at the bottom of the timeline window. -- Herman Robak _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
