My current project (coded while traveling to uni and back) is a
implementation of a live video mixer. I'm progressing but I have some
hardware problems that are not really trivial. It has to do with certain
Sony implementations. For example I can get DV output using the old
dv1394/video1394 interface, but nothing comes out using the raw1394
interface with the current specialized tools.

The application implements different streams and is able to switch them
to an output. Previewing is being implemented. It is a real broadcast
tool. Some people on the list might know I have some other broadcast
tools and I would like to integrate them all in a big GPL-stamped
package, target: getting an Anycast like tool.
