well... there is a directory /usr/lib/cinelerra/fonts
containing, as you might guess, some font files. one might try
to replace this directory by a link to your system fonts.

i have not, however, tried to do so.
instead, i find it more flexible to create the titles
in an external application, like openoffice and/or gimp.

they can then be imported into cinelerra as single-image files
(jpg, png, ...) and panned and zoomed exactly as you like.
this is a more powerful solution than cinelerra's built-in titles.

so, if you try the trick with the symlink as described above,
please report your results to the list.
