Doug, From your description, it is difficult to understand exactly what the problem is. It sounds to me like you need to understand how basic editing works in cinelerra. If you haven't already, I would recommend looking at the tutorials that exist, especially Raffa's excellent "cinelerra for grandma". To move a video left on the timeline, the best way (although not the only way) is to: 1) "arm" the one video track or multiple tacks you want to operate on (this also means "disarm" all the audio or video tracks you want to have remain unedited) 2) to the left of your video, select a portion of time that relates to the amount of out-of-sync-ness 3) hit 'x' to git rid of that time-space that is to the left of your video segment. This will move that video track(s) to the left for that amount of time. I hope that helps and is what you were looking for. best -august. _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list Cinelerra@skolelinux.no https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
