[CinCV] Adding a title

Hi all, I have been working on a video for my son and family.  His  and 
his wifes graduation from college, the raising of their kids, with video 
he has taken as well as some I have taken. I put almost allof it 
together edited transitions and some voice over as well as a lttle music 
here and there.  It needs a title and a Lot of final tweaking and 
polishing.  I have a picture I want to use as a back ground for a 
rolling title  That part I have and it works fine. The problem I have is 
when I add the picture and title at the beginning it displaces the video 
and the video moves  back on the time  line.  The two channel sound that 
came  from the video camera stays at the zero point.  So it is out of 
sink.  I have tried to drag the video back to be in sinc and It does not 
move. I tried to move it back from the back end and it does not move. 
What the heck am I doing wrong. I know this has got to be simple but 
somehow i am missing the boat here. :-)     Can someone give me some 
advice that will lead me off in the right direction.  I think I solved 
this same problem a couple years ago but can't remember what I did.
