The typical "redundancy" setup is similar to http://www.cisco.com/univercd/illus/1/69/126669.jpg (this is actually multiple contexts). You can lose either of the ASAs and everything keeps on chugging right along. But if you lose any ONE of the FOUR switches in this scenario, you've hosed an entire context.

I'm not particularly fond of contexts although they have their uses in certain scenarios.
