The answer is no. I just got into this recently. The software crypto feature is in SXF but no longer in SR releases.
You need to get the IPSec module for hardware crypto. ----- Original Message ---- From: Marlon Duksa <mdu...@gmail.com> To: "cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net" <cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net> Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2009 2:02:57 AM Subject: [c-nsp] ipsec support on 7600 Hi - does anyone know if Cisco 7600 can support IPSec only with RSPs and ES20 cards? No additional hardware service modules such as IPSec VPN modules. If so, I presume the processing of IPSec would take place in MSFC?I understand that performance would be severely impacted without the HW acceleration module, I just need to know if this is supported? And also maybe what would be the performance in this case?
