If you are willing to spend some time with it, you can try Splunk. Its much more than just a syslog viewer and needs some playing around with but its quite flexible. It's free for up to 500MB/day of indexing data if i am not mistaken.

Hi cisco-nsp'ers,

Sorry for the non-Cisco question, but can anyone recommend a good open
source (free) syslog viewer/GUI? It looks like php-syslog is no longer
open
source.

Thanks
