But the ESP5 isn't modular. It is a fixed ESP in the ASR1002 and ASR1001. I confirmed with our SE a while back - the documentation on those tables is somewhat misleading. The ASR1001 has always only had support for 512,000 v4 entries in the FIB. That said, the ASR1001 ships with a 2.5Gbps ESP by default. But this can be upgraded to 5Gbps with a software key. There is no indication that the software key upgrade also increases FIB capacity. Also, ESP5's are only on the ASR1001 and ASR1002 systems, which are both fixed chassis, i.e., you can't run an ESP5 on the ASR1004, ASR1006 or ASR1013, which are all modular platforms. Mark.
