Let me dig further into this. I have never had any reason to believe the ASR1000's would forward traffic in CPU, unless of course for the reasons that IOS XE is based on IOS. I know that new platforms which are being released, based on IOS, still forward traffic in the slow path if the FIB is full, e.g., the ME3600X/3800X. Will let the list know what I find out. Mark.
