Indeed something like this would be great. Option D is the closest we can get;

I haven't tried in the lab yet but I wonder if it's possible using
Cisco Opt A+B down to a CPE (Opt D) to have one MP-BGP session for
control plane and many VLANs for each data plane path, if you then
break out all VPNs onto individual VLANs there will be no exchange of
MPLS tagged frames required, it may be possible to disable mpls
forwarding on the CE-facing interface.
