I run all MRA here out of design necessity , so on premise are MRA as well . Minimal amount of hackers around here that I’m aware of , but plenty of NAT and poorly configured desktop firewall programs.
The guide also says : • The following features are not supported if you are using Cisco Jabber as an agent phone: · Multiline (ACD and non-ACD) · Extension Mobility (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_12_0/design/guide/uccx_b_solution-design-guide-1201/uccx_b_solution-design-guide-1201_chapter_010.html) I assume that’s legacy information from Jabber 12.0 days. A recent presentation regarding MRA updates, I thought during some question and answer someone asked about UCCn agent over MRA with Jabber and got a “no” answer but that really is too narrow of a question. It also tells us that the Agent's access to Finesse for sign-in/state changes is only available over VPN or direct internet access to Finesse.
