If you are planning for more advance Cisco cert, you will have to know token
ring.
I purchased two 2502 when I first started and now know better. I should pay
a little more to buy one with ISDN or other functions (2503 and up). You
will find that as you progress, you will have need of more different
interface. I could delay the purchased of other routers if I had one with
more interface.
