Hi all, Does anybody know exactly what the "ip address negotiated" command does. I looked it up on CCO but have found the descriptions very vague. I understand that it negotiates the IP address from some source, but what source is this ? Is it possible to change the source? I have an ISDN link between two routers with ip address negotiated applied to the dialer interface on one side, and a fixed IP address applied to the dialer on the opposite side. The configuration seems to work but I would like to know how to change the address that is negotiated.
