Hi all, I have a question that might be "off topic" ... sorry if it offending you. Is it possible that win 98 can login in a NT-Domain from another subnet. Here is the configuration: Client - W98 192.168.20.x router Server - PDC "SRV1" 192.168.10.5 * The server was configured with WINS services and the Win 98 client was setup to used the WINS from the PDC server. Ping is ok via the PDC server IP address and server name (NetBios name ) with the HOSTS file. "Net use * \\srv1\D$" is ok But the client cant login in the domain. "Domainserver is unavailible..." My questions is do I need to configure the router to forward the NetBios request to locate the PDC ? If so how I configure the router to do that ? Thanks.
