Maybe so but I "live" in a MAN where we have over 12,000 desktops.  We have
a hell of a lot more than 2 WINS servers (1 master of course) and it works
just fine thank-you.

Not going to get into a big NT design thread on a Cisco list but I suggested
the lmhost thing as a test when the "automatic" stuff doesn't work.  We do
it all the time, restore the service and then trouble-shoot the problem.

You mileage may vary.
