CBT sdhould be used as an additional tool to aid study. You really cant beat the classroom environment but a good book can deliver much needed information better than a CBT (you can highlight sections of a book, and all of the CBT's I have used do not have an INDEX). I used the CBT systems (www.cbtlive.com) to assist in my CCDA, ACRC, BCRAN and BCMSN. I also used the study notes from the classroom courses, the official Ciscopress books (and others like Sybex and Coroilis) and went on a couple of the official training courses. Everyone is different but I would advise getting one of the exam cram type books to consolodate the CBT course.
