Kent Hundley has a chapter on PIX in his book "Cisco Security Architectures"
ISBN: 0071347089. Maybe he can comment on whether or not it meets your
immediate need.
"Designing Cisco Networks" ISBN 1578701058 Appendix D "PIX Firewall Design
Implementation Guide" may be useful.
Obviously CCO ;but it is limited.
Anyone know about "Cisco IOS Network Security" from Cisco Press ISBN:
1578700574 ?

Normal outbound statements allow everything. Try using the initial
statements to deny everything. Then only permit the traffic that you want.
It's a little more work but tightens things down.

Are you using two or three (or more) interfaces? The more the merrier!
