Is this a frame relay interface?  If so, then you either need
"point-to-point" or "multipoint" after the "int s0.1".

Notice that it didn't tell you it wasn't possible, just that your command
was incomplete.  In a situation like this, type the command exactly as you
did before (or just hit up-arrow) and then a <space> and then hit "?".  It
will list the possible commands that it expects from you.
