I don't really have Frame-Relay in mind. The scenerio is this, I have a serial interface which is down when I typed the command SHOW INTERFACES i.e. serial1 is down, line protocol is down ... When I go to interface serial1 and type no shutdown, the interface appears to come up, and when I type Show interfaces serial 1, I have the output : serial1 is up, line protocol is down ... Now get the picture? Thanks once again for the response and the contribution to knowledge. ---------------------- Forwarded by Babashola Madariola/C/Africa/Mobil-Notes on 07/06/2000 05:31 PM --------------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 07/06/2000 07:13:10 AM To: Babashola Madariola/C/Africa/Mobil-Notes cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: The command is: router(config-if)#clock rate bps Wenderson Duarte CCNA "Babashola Madariola" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>@groupstudy.com on 06/07/2000 12:28:25 Please respond to "Babashola Madariola" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc: Subject: Hi Would like to know the commands issued to make a router a DCE.
