I have a 3620 with 4 wics. Three go to Sprint and one (recently installed S1/1) goes to a private connection between another college and us. Been trying to get the connection up with the other college's techs, but so far no go.
65.165.174.0/23 and 198.182.157.0/24 are my networks. 160.81.0.0/30 is Sprint (S0/0, S0/1, S1/0). We numbered the private link 192.168.0.0/30 with my interface being 192.168.0.1 and the other end being 192.168.0.2. I am routing 10.120.4.0/22 to that private link. I can ping 192.168.0.2 but I cannot get past that. Output of sh ip route on my router Gateway of last resort is 0.0.0.0 to network 0.0.0.0 65.0.0.0/23 is subnetted, 1 subnets C 65.165.174.0 is directly connected, FastEthernet0/0 160.81.0.0/30 is subnetted, 3 subnets C 160.81.102.164 is directly connected, Serial0/1 C 160.81.102.160 is directly connected, Serial0/0 C 160.81.102.168 is directly connected, Serial1/0 10.0.0.0/22 is subnetted, 1 subnets S 10.120.4.0 is directly connected 192.168.0.0/24 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks C 192.168.0.0/30 is directly connected, Serial1/1 C 192.168.0.2/32 is directly connected, Serial1/1 S 198.182.157.0/24 [1/0] via 65.165.175.253 S* 0.0.0.0/0 is directly connected, Serial0/0 is directly connected, Serial0/1 is directly connected, Serial1/0 route statements in my config: ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Serial0/0 ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Serial0/1 ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Serial1/0 ip route 10.120.4.0 255.255.252.0 192.168.0.2 ip route 65.165.174.0 255.255.254.0 FastEthernet0/0 ip route 198.182.157.0 255.255.255.0 65.165.175.253 CAIOA>sh int s1/1 Serial1/1 is up, line protocol is up Hardware is DSCC4 with integrated T1 CSU/DSU Description: To COC Internet address is 192.168.0.1/30 MTU 1500 bytes, BW 2048 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation PPP, loopback not set Keepalive set (10 sec) LCP Open Open: IPCP Last input 00:00:02, output 00:00:02, output hang never Last clearing of "show interface" counters 05:00:50 Input queue: 0/75/0 (size/max/drops); Total output drops: 0 Queueing strategy: weighted fair Output queue: 0/1000/64/0 (size/max total/threshold/drops) Conversations 0/1/256 (active/max active/max total) Reserved Conversations 0/0 (allocated/max allocated) 5 minute input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec 5 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec 5494 packets input, 77336 bytes, 0 no buffer Received 0 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles 0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort 6558 packets output, 125989 bytes, 0 underruns 0 output errors, 0 collisions, 0 interface resets 0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out 0 carrier transitions DCD=up DSR=up DTR=up RTS=up CTS=up Here's my question. Their interface addr shows in my routing table as 192.168.0.2/32. Is this right ? Or can you spot any other problems ?
