On the onset, it looks like a proxy-arp issue. Can you please inform me(and double check) all the subnet masks your are using for all interfaces for all machines (i.e. pix, servers...) Do you have any layer3 routing enabled on your 3550 ? If subnet masks look fine, and the 3550 isn’t set-up for layer3 routing or doesn’t have a subnet mask misconfiguration, can you try the following on the pix as a band-aid fix : "sysopt noproxyarp interface" let me know how you fair.
