Hello, I am facing a strange problem.
I have Cisco call manager 3.1 installed. I am using the default G.711 codec. I have 7960 Phones installed. The problem I am facing is. 1. whenever we make calls from 7960 phones using MICROPHONE instead of Handset, I am facing drops during the call. 2. I have enterprise wide Telephony. I am using G.729 codec for reaching the brach office. To convert between g.729 & g.711 I am using a trancoder. The transcoder is a T1 port configured in 6006 chassis. The problem I am facing is.. During a call to the other branch, (basicaly between g.711 to g.729)if I press the mute button the call will get disconnected after around 45 seconds. Your thoughts on this is appreciated.
