Uh, yes, you could use a 7505 in your lab for studying for CCNP and CCIE.
Consider yourself lucky!?

On the other hand, does it only do OC3? That might be hard to use in a lab.
What would you connect it to?

If you can put that stuff below in English you might get a better answer. ;-)

If it also has Ethernet or serial, then you're in good shape. 

Even if you can't connect anything to the OC3 interface, if you could at
least bring it up/up, maybe by turning off keepalives, then you can make it
a subnet and route and ping to it, so it becomes useful in a lab.
