The passing score was 82%, I only got 87% and thought I would fail it during the whole 1.5hrs. I went to a Cisco Training partner for ICND "Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices" and studied the CCNA 507 book. I also, like today, spent my weekends in my work lab doing all the labs. The test was harder than any MCSE test I took and I am glad. The new test ?s are about a paragraph long and some have multiple choice all the way out to f. For anyone deciding to get into IT profession I suggest two things, if you are fresh out of school, get you CCNA and buy a router to do you labs, classes are good but if out of pocket then I suggest a book and a router, then try to work for one of these consulting firms. If you are older and trying to break in the market you probably have a better chance getting your MCSE or close to it, then work on a help desk with the intent to move into operations. These thoughts are based on 10 years of Networking field work in Ukraine, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Germany, and east coast state side dealing w/ Private companies, & US & Foreign governments.
