I remember reading in the books that you need a 4500 or above w/ 11.3, it is
in Cisco Press BCMSN. I am presently trying to get back a 4500 that we
loaned out so I do not know if it will work. I think that it will also
support isl and dot1q encapsulation. To support isl is a hardware requiment
so I doubt lower end routers will work.

I have a 2521 and I know that it doesn't support VLAN switching but does
anyone know of any other Cisco router that supports VLAN switching? Or does
an updated IOS support this feature?
Seems like only modular routers support inter-VLAN switching...
