Looks like Paresh made the point. RIP on newer versions of IOS acts more
like its big brothers.
Found this config:
Router#config t
Router(config)#ip default-network 172.16.0.0
Router(config)#router rip
Router(config-router)#network 10.0.0.0
Router(config-router)#default-information originate
Router(config-router)#^Z
