The 1900 and 2900 dont run the same software.

There are even two sets of 2900's - each with a different command set. Which
one of them shares with the 5000. Etc Etc Etc

A good guide to all of this apart from the CD or CCO (which has everything
you want) was the CLSC course material for the CCNP 1 exam. A lot easier to
read on the train than a laptop running the cd. ;-)

The functions are very similar for all the switches so using the same logic
you should be able to figure anything out using the manual or CCO. Came
across an old 3xxx switch - took 20 minutes of digging on the CD to find the
password recovery procedure. And another 5 to figure out when they said
press "break" they actually meant a button on the router as opposed to
alt-break (blush).
