Hmmm Nvam is soldered on and yes I guess you could desolder it but i think
it's that cold solder stuff and you need funky tools and then you have to
scavange the chips of another router. ( and then render that router useless)
If you pull out the flash and ram will it boot into rom ?
Connect it to the network maybe you enable cdp and can see it that way .
Is the eth port sending anything out at all .?
how far in the boot process does it get ?
