Title: RE: Router models?

Hi Jason,

From memory, you will need to know the details of some routers (like the differences & similarities between 1601, 1602, 1603, and 1604).  However, you don't have to memorise the exact number and type of interfaces, just what the models have by default, and whether they are suited in a ROBO or central office environment.

I read the Cisco Products Quick Reference Guide, as they give you an excellent summary of all the models that you need to know in Remote Access 2.0, like 700, 800, 1000, 1600, 1700, 2500, 2600, 3600, & AS5xxx.

Don't be daunted by Remote Access 2.0.  I found the exam to be the easiest compared to ACRC & BCMSN.

Good luck on your exam!

Jeff Wang
