If the CGS has an CSC/4 and 16Mb RAM, it can run 11.0(22) just fine.
With the MCI card, you can have 2 serial and two ethernet ports.
What's wrong with that?

I have an MGS, CRM and an AGS+ that work good in my lab. But I also have a
4000 and 2 2501's so I can do the newer stuff. For the CCNP Routing 640-503
test, these are coming in handy to study with as I am messing with routes
anyway and don't need anything but OSPF, RIP etc to mess with and the more
routers there are, the better. <g>

Of course, I don't know what condition the CGS is in that Ejay is looking at
but yes, have done plenty of work with them and they will do a good job as
a supplementary router. I would get at least one router that can run code
11.2 and above though, so you can practice NAT and other features that the
11.0 code doesn't have.
