Just wanted to mention I think Adtran makes some interesting products, we
used a couple of their sdsl units (forget the model number) to simulate a
sdsl linke between two banks. We were able to bet 768k/s over 1 pair of
copper provided by the phone company, distance being around 1.2-1.3 miles.
We ocassionaly use Adtran Tsu's, like the 120 and 120e to simulate a T1 over
2 pairs of copper. Mostly we're connecting PBX's between offices, but since
they hired me on and we do data now, we obviously use it for that too.
