Try doing it this way...
telnet (ip address) 2001
ex: telnet 1.1.1.1 2001
That's how we do it here. Your probably doing something different but this is how I do
it when I telnet into a device and then need to reverse telnet into an Adtran or
somethin. Hope it helps...
