I open up the router,,,,cleaned the dust...refitted the cables  and
memory...and the router started ..

its working perfectly...

Thank u once more.

To summarise I would say "Conquer the fear of unknown and U will succeced" I
was afraid to open the router because the  I had never open a router
earlier...

I was told by various vendors....that there is serious problem....we will
have to send it to cisco..and as the 2501 is not under warranty...they might
not even support u.....They scared me...but thank to u pal and this
group..Now I have one standby router..
