To change the name used in your prompt use 'set prompt'. If you want to set
the system name then use the 'set sysname' command which you can verify with
'show system'.

I would appreciate someone out there that might know why my CAT 5000 won't
let me change it's system name.
Heres the steps I take at the console:
AMMOCH11_Console (enable) set system name
System name cleared.
AMMOCH11_Console (enable) set system name switch
System name set.
AMMOCH11_Console (enable)
I've quit came back in, but no change its like its locked with that name.
